Profile and WhatsApp

Your name, photo and contact details live here, along with changing your email — which is confirmed by a verification message before it takes effect. This is also where you link WhatsApp. Add a phone number first, then connect it to get match alerts and chat with BrokerBuddy in the same thread you already use all day. You can disconnect at any time.

Account

Your name, date of birth and preferred language. Language changes what the portal is shown in.

Appearance

Light or dark, and your display font.

Markets

The places you work. A market is more than a filter — it changes which listings and buyers you see, and what BrokerBuddy assumes when you talk to it. For each market you add:
  • the agency name you operate under there
  • a credential — its type and number, for example a RERA permit or a licence
Credentials go for review rather than taking effect immediately; you’ll see Credential submitted for review until that is done. You can disable a market you no longer work in.
Your markets decide what you see across the whole portal, so it is worth getting them right before you wonder why a listing or buyer is missing.

Notifications

Where each kind of nudge reaches you.
Where the one post-viewing question arrives — on WhatsApp, the quickest nudge because you can reply from anywhere, or on your dashboard, where it waits in your Owed list. See Viewings.
On your phone, when the mobile app is installed.
A window where nudges hold back. Turn it on and set the hours that suit you.

Data connections

Connect an external CRM so your listings, buyers and viewings flow in. Credentials are tested when you save, so you’ll know straight away whether the connection is live. See Data connections.

Deleting your account

Account deletion is permanent and cascades across the platform:
  • Your public card is taken down and de-indexed (removed from search).
  • Vouches you gave are invalidated, and affected brokers’ standing recomputes.
  • Records tied to completed deals are preserved but anonymised.
Deletion can’t be undone. If you only want to step back temporarily, unpublish your card and pause your buyers instead.
